Jessica Rush Reiki

I devised this meditation a few years back whilst blogging as Wyrrd Shaman and it couldnt be more appropriate for the work im doing now with Reiki healing. Please try this meditation for yourself and let me know how you get on with it!

This is a simple meditation that uses vibrant white light to bathe the Chakras! Its perfect to use for cleansing yourself before ritual, or after healing work etc.

Vibrationaly it offers you a ‘clean slate’. Its like burning sage to cleanse your wand or athame and getting rid of any negative energy or attachments. The Light bath clears the chakras of any negative energies you may have picked up from somewhere or someone. Quite usefull after an arguement or if the guy or girl opposite you on the train has totaly creeped you out. The meditation is easy enough to do whilst still in your train seat!

If you are new to working with higher vibrations you may wish to add some sparkles of Gold into your White light when you visualise it. This doesnt make it any less effective but it might make it easier for you to work with. 

☆ White Light Chakra Bath ☆

 • Begin by visualising a ball of white sparkling light infront of you at about waist height. With every breath you take in, see this ball gently expand, until it is roughly football sized
• Reach out with your hands and carefully pull this ball of vibrant light into your abdomen. See it shining inside of you.
•With each breath, see the ball of light in your abdomen begin to stretch upwards, reaching towards the crown chakra. The light stays anchored in your root chakra area whilst the stretching up through the chakras like a pillar of vibrant white energy.
• As the light reaches the top of your crown chakra see it literally spilling over your head, over your face and cascading down over your chakras.
• When the white light reaches your abdomen, or root chakra, ‘breath it in’ into your root chakra, through to your spine.
• Now on the next breathe, ‘breath’ the light out of your back, up the outside of the spine and past your chakras, until it reaches your crown chakra.
• At this point the light joins with the light that is bubbling up from the crown chakra and the cycle begins again! 

This cycle, started from your sparkling ball of White Light, is a very powerfull yet simple meditation that doesnt take too long and yet is very effective.

If youve been working in a very heavy energy then you may choose to give yourself a longer 10-15 minute bath, perhaps adding in some pastel blue or pink ‘glitter’ to your light for healing and comfort.

This is a meditation that you can learn to adapt and im sure will be a usefull tool to add to your bag.
